Brought her back out today for more breaking in and learning the new electronics... and boat. Mpg was decent considering I still don't have the right prop. Nice day on the coast, saw some bait and dolphins. Looked for some old honey holes but had no luck. Came home to some seared YT over mashed pots. Good day

What's the latest dood, you been out lately? Did you re-prop and if so, what mileage you getting?

Just did my annual maintenance and had the boat out Saturday for a shake down - she running so good!

Didn't you offer up your boat to a guy in a wanted ad the other day? Here I am still trying to get mine wet...

No I just asked him if was willing to consider a 216.

I have a lot of miles to put on this boat before I consider moving on to something else

Added a few more things and finished up a few other projects now that the season is starting back up. I have 2 electric downriggers and a pot puller so I had these battery cases mounted in back, with plug ins, for when I'm using any of those things. I put in a Garmin 215 Ais Marine Radio that syncs up with the Garmin Fishfinder/Chartplotter. It's a pretty cool unit. Replaced the 19 pitch prop with a 21. We'll see how that works out. I could still easilly hit 6,000 rpm with the 19 pitch.
I also installed ship-to-shore power for harbor stays. Pretty stoked about that. I've got 2 outlets. 1 outlet inside cuddy and 1 for the battery chargers. Put a keel guard on for those beach deployments :).
All I've really got left to complete this boat is the canvas and eisenglass work. I want a splashgaurd and full enclosure of the T-Top/Pilot House. If all goes well this season, I'll strip her down next season, put a new gel coat on and replace the gas tank.

Wow. Thats a big interior hatch for the wiring access. I cut a smaller one in but haven't put it back on as the worrier in me likes the total access for now.

i'd like to know about the fabric and what you used to apply it for the interior.

SB Cabo Day this season for sure....

I cut a big hatch for easy access. I've got a lot of electrical gadgets on this boat. That's the fabric that was in the Cuddy when I bought her. I thought it was factory installed but I could be wrong.

Several SB Cabo Days this season! I can't wait.

It's been a while Torn, have you got your motor dialed in? What do your numbers look like with the 250? I'm still trying to decide what I want to do for that so any input would be appreciated.

I tried to reply awhile ago. Guess I forgot to post. Anyhow, right now I've got just under 30hrs on engine. Ocean has been snoty. Numbers are basically: 2.15 gpm at 3,500 rpm, 20 knots. That's cruising on bumpy ocean with full load and 3 adults. Plenty of power and running great.
Just cleaned her up! Ready to go!
