I have had to postpone twice, but now I am just about ready. Excel and the Okuma 16-day. Man I can't wait!

Boat is going to be in great shape.

Painted many of the state rooms.

Removed the plastic shower inserts and tiled the walls in two of the heads

    Painted the upper deck

And my personal favorite - got rid of the rugs in the main galley.
New rubber flooring with a rug runner down the middle.

There is no place for carpet on a commercial boat.

Majored the Port and Starboard mains

    Replumbed the bait tanks.

Good luck to everyone going on this trip. I will be in Victoria BC Canada while you are far away from land fishing and having fun. Enjoy yourself on the BIG X

It's a great rig. I spend all my long range days on the Excel now.

I'll be watching and listening, David. The one time we fished together before, I learned so much from you. I imagine you'll be the one putting on a clinic!

These days I still fish hard, but now for me it's less about the catching and more about just the experience.

    I CANNOT WAIT!
