4 guys on the boat!
We drifted almost 4 miles. Chum works!
Any fish being caught on colt snipers/trolling/etc? Something if I don't have live bait?
Good to see some major carnage and 2 stuffed kill bags...
Nice load Rick! Solid work!
Good for you, Looks like you had one great trip. Best of all, you didn't get potted.
I believe he stated what they caught them on and the chum makes a big deal.
For us only bait and smaller poppers.
We tried a lot of things, colt snipers, surface irons, smaller metal jigs, and the smaller waxwings.
We did not troll anything but bait.
Thanks for the heads up. Great job. Yes God is good
Damn, that's a haul of fish! Very nice!!!
That first photo was a murder scene!! Great Job!!! when i went out on labor day to the 182 they were shy and were metered to about 70 to 100 feet down. Glad to know they wanted to play again.
Hey I have a question,
Were you guys chumming the entire time or you just kind of drifted over a general area? Was it a bite every few mins or so or did u chum them up for bites get the fish in the boat and repeat? Only reason I ask is I ran into a school yesterday and they went crazy for 5 mins but then as soon as we were getting low on bait and stopped chumming they disappeared.
We threw one small basket at the beginning and then 1 or so every couple of mins.
We always had 3-4 of our baits in the water too.
We threw out chunks of old frozen bait too. Never got bit on chunck though.
Thank you so much for sharing the catch, and especially the info!
That really helps us private boaters so we're not chasing ghost stories and fishing empty water for a catch of frustration.
congratulations on a day of fish; I am sure more to come for you and your crew!
Nice job. Full fish bags.
