181 had 20 boats on top of it, mostly the commercial sportfishing fleet. Good weather (especially from mid-morning on), fabulous firecracker deans from E-Bros Mission Bay. 2 miles North of the 181 proper got lucky on a yellowfin - TN20, 60 lb spectra with 200 feet of 20 lb flouro, 3/4 ounce sliding egg sinker, ringed circle hook, first bait in the water on that stop for me after striking out on the flat fall...

    Nice fish!

Did that end up being the only fish on the boat that day?

    Thanks for the report!

    Nice local YFT!!!

You must have dropped into a trough when that pic was taken. Either that or you have a very large head and tiny little feet :D

We were out there as well. 3 scoops of chum for one bite and one fish. Brutal. Same grade.

Sporties had them blowing up constantly in their chum but nothing for the boats around trying to pull fish off the feeding trough.
