First fishing trip on my new to me Striper 21cc. Took my dad and son(11) so we covered 3 generations! Hope to get my grandfather out this summer…4 generations, very blessed. Ran out of King Harbor, got a scoop of lively 4’’ dines from Mike, some frozen squid from Redondo Sport fishing, and headed to PV. Wind and fast current working together pushing us downhill made for tough drifts but we managed a couple sandies and calicos.
Worked up the line to Bluff cove where there was a lot of bird activity. All the short barracuda you could want on colt sniper (blue/pink), sandies and calico off the bottom. My son and I were on dropper loop with dines and we get a double hook up! White Sea bass! Both a few inches short but who cares…our first father/son WSB! Snapped a pic and released. Stoked! Fun fishing the rest of the day. Kept the white fish for tacos and back on the trailer about 2pm.
Boat ran great! So grateful for the opportunity to fish with my dad and son. Looking forward to next time!

Good job Captain Sain. We'll have to meet on the water instead of the baseball field.

Congratulations on the new sled. Looking forward to some future intel. Nobody is more zealous like when they get a new boat.

I have the same CC! Wondered what you have for power, how you like the boat, first impressions, etc. Have mine for a couple years now, multiple trips out to 14, 277, Farnsworth, PV, very capable, dare I say, "under rated?"
Curious how your deck cores are too (may be the one weak point)..

    Cheers!
