Left Davies at 630, got some huge dines from nacho, NOAA report said NW swells 2' w/ 10 mph wind. Got over to back in 1 1/2 hours, did a couple of drifts for Halibut. Got 2 raked baits and buddy caught nice calico, wind sent us for cover on east end, got it to nice bite on the fresh dead until slack tide. Crossing back was sloppy 2 1/2 hours. Just in time for the boat parade. Nice day, especially new motor, top, eisenglass. One day the halibut will bow down to me, but not this day.:)
