I do base wrap, over the guide and carbon on top than epoxy.

If it's anything like what Penn did with carbon fiber guide wraps then bless the poor soul of the guy who has to do a guide repair on one.

If anything need to be repair just bring it back to the shop. Only local customer will buy it ( shipping is too high) and i can repair it easy. Not a big deal

It looks nice on any carbon blanks . I might do it on new blue UC rods next time.
