    Good afternoon all,

Several of our anglers had to cancel their trips... We have been filling some of the slots trying to recoup some of their deposit monies but at this point we are offering a rare if ever discount of $1000.00 off the trip price... Their loss is your gain. There are a couple of spots available at this price. Please check the Excel Website for the boat details... If you are interested, please call the Excel office and book right away..

September 19th thru 29th. I believe this is our 19th year of the Gallagher Charter on the Big and Beautiful EXCEL. This charter is normally fully booked 2 years in advance. Without question, one of the most fun charters of the year. And one of the most productive as far as fish catching goes.. We go by the Credo "Rocks or Bust" as we love to fish Alijos at some point in the trip and will do so weather permitting. On a 10 dayer, there are so many options and choices. A true mixed bag fishing trip.

For one reason or another 5 guys had to cancel out. It is killing them not to go but their loss is your gain... If you are interested in joining this group of fun loving yet dedicated fishermen please contact Jason at the Excel office... Just be aware, once you join our group you will never leave unless you have health issues, mental breakdowns or a deep desire to not enjoy life.. And even then......Too much fun.

Hope to see some of you join our amazing group. No cliques, new comers become regulars immediately so please do not think you will be immune from the hi-jinx.. and we are there to help anyone who needs or asks for it.

    Jamie

If I wasn’t with a bunch of friends on my October PS trip I’d bail on that one for this one.

I'd get fired if I went this year(might be worth it), but how can me and a couple buddies get a spot next year!?!
Talked w/ you numerous times Jamie & would love to fish w/ you.

Just curious, not trying to bust chops here....in regard to last minute discounts, what about the guys who paid full price....are they going to be OK with filling the spots in that manner?

Along with the risk/benefit of getting your money in on a trip is the not uncommon possibility that the trip runs light which, to the remaining passengers, is an obvious benefit (not of course for the boat, or in this case, the CM who appears to be lessening the ordinary? CM (monetary) risk exposure at the expense of those those that paid full fare???)

Bottom line, I hope everything works out, that it's a great trip, and everyone is as happy as the proverbial clam.

The new folks are paying full price...the people not going are paying the first $1000 of that full price tag.

So the 5 guys are offering up 1K each to potential newbies so as to not lose their 50% deposit (or could be full cost at this point in time). Interesting, makes sense. Sounds a bit slippery, and glad I'm not in that situation where I paid full fare & the next guy at the rail did not simply because he jumped on at the last minute - guess that's in the realm of 'good on him'. Appreciate being educated. Thanks!

I first fished with Pat in April 2001 and Jamie somewhere around 2005; I’ve fished with each/both of then many times since then. I actually did this trip last year when it was an eight day and had a great time. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, cooperative and not competitive, and lots of fun! And as a bonus the giveaways are awesome!

Both Pat and Jamie are great charter masters and if I hadn’t already committed to another 10 day, I’d be on this trip.

A great deal on an already great trip!

I always wanted to try the long range trips. My work load is just overwhelming these days. Hope I can get that golden opportunity next year .
