Fished out of DP yesterday. Live bait choice was straight sardines or chovies and sardines mixed. Caught some macks by the red buoy. Trolled for hoo toward the 267 with a purple and black marauder a Dorado Zuker and a mackerel X-Rap. From the 267 we trolled to the Domes. Then back and forth between Sano and San Mateo several times along the ridge at different depths. Then back to DP at 3 pm.

Stopped on several paddies and chummed heavily but brought up only mice (yellowtail even smaller than rats).

No fish no hookups no strikes no sightings. Water temps 70 at DP 73 at the 267 and 73.5 at the domes. Great weather and conditions for boating.

Back at the ramp the DFW survey guy said he had counted zero wahoo tuna or dorado so far at 3 pm. I guess it was just really a down day out of DP although I'm sure somebody got something.

    Good luck!!!

I hate those those guys that get one in the first 30 minutes of trolling with their newly acquired "wahoo" lures. Way to put in the time. I'm in the same boat.

Great report!!! Super informative. Hate to say but we had the similar deal. But wed we got a 39# hoo. It took three zero days to get. So we both have a skunk. Means we are closer to getting fish !!! Lol
