Largely due to the free BD stickers at FH. They put them on their vehicle, but don't know the salute.

I had one of the big OG BD stickers in the middle of my rear window on my suburban. Exchanged salutes with several members in the know.

Leaned over so I could see up to the cockpit.
    Lifted a finger.

    She was pissed.

April 2004. Affordable marine web site, allcoast, and BD. Its way kinder and no cursing anymore. I miss some of the great fisherman here, Wildcat was a fish killing machine. DaGoose with the halibut and lunch stories. Heather Lynn leaving at o'dark thirty, Aluminator hating trash fish yellowtail. Many great anglers.

I do think BD showed many how posting can kill a bite and many, including myself, rarely post reports anymore when we all used to post reports regularly.

I have bought some of that equipment. It's not bad when you get past the used part

I was flying down the 15 doing 85+ and realized there was a Riverside County Sheriff in the lane next to me. Had a big BD Tuna sticker on my back window. He gave me the BD salute with both hands and laughed. Then he drove away like I was sitting still. Made my day.

    Met many a friend here.

Team Filthy (RIP) is missed. If its safe enough to fish from, who cares how it looks, go fish.

BOD. But I always wondered who had the time and inclination to do all that editing

15 years and the lack of a BD salute is the biggest change to me...or back in the day when you saw a shirt or sticker and you struck up a convo, you always recognized the other guys handle cuz there wasn't very many others involved. I still have the original red and black jacket too. Congrats on the growth and thanks for getting kicked off Buddy boaters Ali !!
