But first: 9/28/13 broke line on a marlin Saturday and lost the hot 9" JSI run on the center. No worries ran across some JSI heads a week or so ago, all is good.

10-1-13 The Captain and I pushed off a little early, got some tanker Akules, not too many but big. Then ran out to the buoy picked up some Opelus and Halalus. We ran the 1000 down South then back out crossed thru the pocket and the pinnacle. Probably around 9:30 the center goes (brand new 9" JSI) nice little marlin puts on a great show, Nerlie gets a kick out of him trying to catch up to the boat. Pat leaders, Nerlie puts him to sleep.

Later in the day see a splash, get closer see its whales, yuk. Birds are around and every now and then show signs of working. Then see another splash and then what looks like the right stuff. Stay there for awhile nothing ever happens. Get in around 5:30, give our thanks and put the Kai'Nana away.

Nice team you and the Captain, still keeping up the streak. Hope the fish are around this weekend and the wind stays down.

Pat you and Nerlie, are unstoppable this season, slaying them donkey's. Looks like you were expecting trouble too busting out the big gear!

Good going, Team Kai Nana! Nice marlin. Hope to get a 'stick soon and get my wife trained on it too. Main thing she does not turn it on me!
    Aloha,

Pat and Nerlie, killing em as usual. Glad you were able to find more JSI's, seems to be working well for you this season.

Thanks Steven, weather looks good, tides appear decent, should be a good weekend. Good Luck!

Thanks, after loosing the 7" earlier in Sept. then the 9" this past weekend, I couldn't have asked for better timing on getting the heads. THANKS!

Thanks Brian, it must be an optical illusion, those are all 50's.

Thanks Luke, Nerlie is having a blast!!!

Thanks Jimmy, the bang stick certainly is "lights out". Obviously safety is paramount. Good luck and be safe w/ the training session.

Thanks Darren, the JSI have been pretty effective behind the Kai'Nana and I was fortunate to have found some of the older style heads.

    Cheers
    Pat
