Hey there... last time we went to Nic we got limits of Reds, lings, Sheepheads, White fish and even 200lbs Black Sea bass that we successfully released. I am looking for 1 maybe 2 people to hop on for another amazing trip. The plan is to leave Los Alimitos around 8pm on 4/20. Hit Catalina to make squid and then head out to San Nic. Fish San Nic Island (4/21) from grey to whenever we limit out. I have a Parker 2530 with all the bells and whistles. We’ll split costs 4 ways. Call or text me at 9493071165 if you’re interested in going.

Hey All. I got wind that there was no squid at Catalina. Luckily last time there I was able to make about 150lbs that I took home and froze. I took about 20lbs of fresh dead and we stopped in Pedro on our way out and picked up a scoop of Dino’s. We left Long Beach around Midnight in Friday and arrived to Nic around 0500. We would’ve stayed a lot long but had to leave as my kill bag wouldn’t close from being so full. We ended the day with 13 different species and 46 fish between the four of us. Needless to say it was an amazing trip.

Thanks Doug. I see that signs of life are starting to show up in your neck of the woods. I’ll be down very soon to start fishing.
