fished Izors this morning. Windy, cold, with a little swell. Conditions definitely we not ideal, but fishable. Went from pile to pile with no luck except for 1 sandbass and a handful of whitefish. Lobster pods on most of the piles, not sure if that had anything to do with it. Seemed like the whitefish were all over the bait. We did manage to save a dolphin that was barely alive all wrapped up in a net. Felt very rewarding to cut him free. My 8 year old had fun anyways, can’t always get em, that’s fishing. Good luck out there.

Good job in getting out, and in saving that dolphin. That's going to be something your kid will be able to talk about for a long time to come!

Thanks for the report Rob. Nice job in cutting that dolphin free...who knows, even though it was a slow day fishing, there was a reason you were there!

We will get em next time. I’m really glad we were at the right place at the right time. The dolphin was exhausted.

Maybe the purpose of the trip was just to save that dolphin...Success! The rest was just window dressing.
