Gotta be quick... sorry no time.
Solo mission; got some halalu and opelu, kept some of each alive. Then went trolling, around 9:30 had a bite, while clearing lines saw some porpoise, ended up loosing the fish. Spent the next hour looking for the propoise, finally found 'em, stbd corner went, the rest is history.

Pat, good job on the ahi. Way to get back in it after losing the big marlin and your lure. Guess no gopro yet, can't wait for the stand up action videos.

Way to go, Pat! I was hoping you'd get it.

I was the boat that came in from the south as you were hooked up. As I got within 200 yards of you, I had a strong knockdown on the starboard outrigger. It spit the hook, or so I thought. I didn't reel it in to check out the leader and lure. I just left it out there all day long. This is what I cranked in later in the day, a broken Mustad Sea Deamon stainless 11/0 hook. First time ever... :(

I love your pictures Pat. Some of the fish you catch seem to be as big as you brother!

When you do your solo trips do you stand up or fight them in the rod holders?
    Cheers!

Way to go Pat, starting the year the way last year ended. Unreal how you keep finding them, even solo without the Captain along. Happy new year!

Woohoo, way to start the new year off, Pat! You've been catching ahi too consistently during the off-peak season for it to be just luck. You obviously know what you're doing! Congrats and keep up the good work catching 'em and inspiring the rest of us.
