pliers - why your choice

I have recently noticed that a number of crew-members are using Duck-Billed pliers. A few years a go it was needle nose or blunt nose. What style do you use and why? I have a separate cutter. I currently use the blunt nose style >> 7.5 inch, P-Line Bulldog <<, as it seems stronger working...
