I have a 20 (100lb) and 2x 30s (100 & 130lb). I hate using the 30s as they are heavy and haven’t caught anything yet. Been using the 20 more.

This was posted by someone on this trip in another forum. He eventually named the SA80. OP was from out of state fishing with a group of friends. Not sure if he is one in the same as this OP.

Thanks for the report. Yours was not the only one mentioning this on the SA80. There are others on the trip that said the same thing in other forums I follow. I know this is not the boat I would go on in the future. Again, thanks for bringing this up.

I put the 15ii on the Predator and the 16ii on the Centaur. Pulled this 60lber on the 15ii/predator combo last week and it was smooth.

I think I'm set for now. From bottom to top, 50lb, 60lb, 80lb, 100lb, and 130lb. Below 50lb I'll use my two Penns.

I think I've become a tackle junkie.... I see all these posts of huge cows and dont want to miss out on landing one because I overestimated my gear's capabilities.

Well, just picked up a 30ii filled with 100lb izorline hollow so I guess I won't need to get the 20ii anymore. Time to get out on the water!

Thanks for that info Dan. I was leaning towards the 20ii since it can always fish lower. I may need to just go handle the two to see which is more comfortable. Which one do you find yourself using the most often?

Hi guys, Contemplating getting either the 16ii for 80lbs or the 20ii for 100lbs next. I already have the 15ii for 60lbs and a 30ii for 130lbs. Mostly fish SCI area but want to do a LR trip in the near future. Recommendations? Thanks! P.S. I'm using a Tac10 for 50lbs.

I'm picking up both a RCX76 Centaur and a US80 Predator. Will test both out to see which matches best.
