    Just so you know, unless you had 7 people on board your boat you could have been in trouble if you got rolled up on. 302 is Mexican water and dorado limit is 2 per person. 13 dorado need 7 people, and if you were on your 18' boat, i don't think there were 7 anglers.

    Cork Tape with Cord?

    I always use a turks head over shrink tube at top and then I just throw some masking tape at the very bottom which gets cover by the butt cap and I have never had one come undone or have any issues. And I usually use 3 runs of cord so 1 should definitely be no problem!

    Its a bummer how it seems that luck is the only way to get em recently at the coronados because they are so spread out everywhere. Gotta be right place at the right time driftin greenbacks. I cant wait til the paddys get loaded so I can quit going to the islands.

    I just got the lowrance HDS-5 for my 21' trophy. I'm a little bit nervous about putting the necessary holes in the transom to mount the transducer, any advice on water sealing after I put it on? and any advice at all is appreciated? thanks guys.
