    Seaswirl Trophies

I have a 1989 2459 Trophy with the pilot house and Alaskan bulkhead. It does what I need it to do pretty well. It has a 230 mile range, sleeps 4 adults, two burner stove and all the comforts (except shower) for a few days at the islands. My longest trip without going ashore was 5 days. I...

    Catalina report 4/26-30

I was happy with the performance of my ground tackle and glad I had it for sure. He will hold some for you if...

Left Davies Wednesday morning headed for the west end with a friend. Had frozen squid for bait and hoped to make some while there. Fished the west end down to Cat harbor for calico's, sheepshead and the usual incidental catch. No cbass or yellow tail. Signs of life faded the further we got from...

    Bait tank intake ?'s

I have a rule transom mounted 700 gph on my 24 footer, works great with my 32 gallon tank. I stared out with a 500 gph pump but with 3.5 feet of hed to the top of the tank, I was only getting 350 gph. With the 700 gph pump, I get around 500 to the tank. My setup picks up water on plane while it...

    Question for SportPilot oweners

I just installed a SportPilot+ on my boat and it has some play in the vertical axis (forward-aft). The looseness seems to come from the clutch assembly. I uninstalled and reinstalled the unit a couple of times to make sure everything is installed properly. It isn't real bad but just dosen't...
