    Westerbeke or Kohler gas generator?

  27. uglyducky

Kill box/storage or below deck generator?

Deck really is too small to center mount a tank. Plus the boat is very heavy and overbuilt and has a huge positive flotation bracket. I don’t think the transom mount tank will be an issue.
  28. uglyducky

Kill box/storage or below deck generator?

Havent been able to get the kohler genny running that came with the whaler. Wondering, in all reality, how often folks actually use the generator and for what? No fridge or microwave, just a/c (which i don't see using too often) lights, and the bait tank. Lots of real estate below deck that...

Forward on both starboard and port sides of hull about 10” or so off keel are a pickup (starboard) which has a much larger profile than thru hull strainer on port side. well, shit. transom bracket (whaler drive) is totally soaked. wood and foam alike is all saturated. Gonna pull it and have Tom Rogers make a custom aluminum bracket. Good news is a larger space for swim platform and to potentially fish from. .

i've been in touch with about a dozen. many of whom were highly recommended on here. I won't blast them all, but they've all been pretty shitty in comms department. for a $60k sale, you'd think they could send an estimate in under 10 days or, in some cases, return a call.

  431. uglyducky

50% hike in prices at MDR bait dock?

You mistook the identifying a price change for perceived value. It’s not a lot of money to me but seems wasteful to pay even more when I generally only take less than half a scoop no matter what the cost is. More fish in the bait tank is no bueno and I usually go out alone for short runs around...
  432. uglyducky

50% hike in prices at MDR bait dock?

I noted that the prices had changed. If you’d been such a long time customer you would know it was $20/scoop and is now $30, hence the “50% increase”. It’s a big jump, not the end of the world. But I’ll run down for a scoop elsewhere and then return and complain per your instructions. Lol

Seems the famous captain black and crew have jacked prices 50% ??
