What rub rail did you go with?

So bilge water could get to the fuel tank?

Also, is Suzuki the only one making fuel injected 9.9 or 15hp kickers?

How big does the bilge need to be? I'd like to build a new, much larger, fuel tank next winter, but not sure on the minimum size of the bilge. Deck is NOT self bailing.

If you ever put a screw into that PT, you will get rot. The treatment is only the surface.

I agree, pt is super wet, I don't think fiberglass would bond well.

Do it you can, it's a great Hull design. My only complaint is while trolling, she likes to lean a bit. But 30 knots in 3' wind waves feels like cruising on glass.

Magic cast works great to learn how to cast without digging birds nests everytime. Now that I've learned, I won't buy a MC.

Got 3 layers down on the transom tonight. Should finish glassing transom tomorrow, then on to the stringers and fish boxes.

Small update, keyhole is filled, transom is ready to be glassed in.

Love my Green Mountain, had a sensor go out and was shipped a new one free almost two years after buying it. It's been great and we BBQ 3 to 4 times a week. That said, my next pellet grill will be a Yoder.

2007, older than I originally wanted but came from single owner and well maintained and only 360 hours. 30" and got new binnacle and key ignition switch and wire harness with throttle and shift cables. Only need steering and prop.

Forgot with mention it comes with an airmar p66 transducer.

I used this on everything from the rub rail up and added non skid media to the paint I used on the floor. 2 years and still looks gret. Best thing is you can paint right over so if it gets scratched( dragging shrimp pots over the rail), touch ups are easy...

The $19k for the motor doesn't include prop, steering, contols, etc. 25k when it's all said and done. Leaves two grand for electronics which doesn't go very far.

Getting close to putting the outboard on my 23' Olympic and have been kicking around the idea of a lightly used outboard. I was quoted $19,238 for a 300hp zuke with factory warranty. Or go this route and save around 10 grand and have more money for electronics, kicker, etc...

I got lucky, Olympic built this boat with an option of inboard or outboard. The transom is over 2.5" thick. Add that to the reinforced structure that will be tied to the existing engine mounts and this will be the strongest part of the entire boat.

The bracket should create enough positive flotation to null the added and extended weight of the outboard.

That's an optical illusion on the water pump. The camera is only capable of capturing so many frames per second making it look like it's not spinning. Oil pressure started great at 50psi, it's now non existent.

I use channel locks on hoses, find the right pressure where the hose spins on the barb and not the pliers on the hose. Once it's broke free, pull on hose.
