Bait tank was custom built by me.....from Pet Food Container and thru hull fittings. Very similar to the tanks you see from Hobie. Half of the tank sits inside the center bench, sitting on a wood and aluminum cradle. I couldn't find what I wanted.....so I built that one.

Another vote for Yamaha F70. That will be perfect engine for that hull. Much lighter than the 90......would be a big upgrade from the 50. I have the Baja 17 with Yamaha F50...... it's just enough for my 17.

I think i'm propped just right now. Now running the 13.5 X 11. RPM at WOT is about 5600. My Boat (17 Baja Bayrunner) gets out of the hole well, but does not get the speed I think it should. At WOT with correct trim, all I can manage 19.7 kts. At 4200 RPM cruise - about 14.5 kts I have spoken...

Finally got a chance to try some of the squid. They are carrying it at Big Fish in Seal Beach. Hands down... best looking frozen squid I have ever seen. Will defintely keep buying it. Fish in H/H loved this stuff, past Sat. Had good action all day on live Dines and the squid.

I recently bought some nice white hatches at Minneys in Newport Beach. These were new Overstock items. 12 by 15 $29.99 (I think they had 6 or 7 more) Picture is attached of the small hatches. Single latches. They also had some larger ones, approx 14 by 18 $49.99 these had 2 latches...

Only slight problem I remeber was the lack of self draining deck. Had to have good functioning bilge pump.

Damn, give away would gave been nice!! Thanks for the idea on eBay. I'll have to consider that small console you showed, that would likley do the job nicely. Trying to do with as little cost and weight as possible. Ideally, a small aluminim console is what I'm hoping to find.

I looked into it, won't work. On new model 8/9.9 and 15/20 is same displacement. Older 2 strokes, it was simple jet and prop change. If I could I would!!
