Don’t be too intimidated
I’m a pink vagina hat wearing, sidewalk sissy. I use the rail as soon as I can, that was liberating.
My dad took my brother and I on the Holiday for our first overnight trip in 1976. I got seasick, sunburnt to a crisp and I caught this disgusting...
I've got a squidder that works like a boss
We had one for 12 years, I’d still be driving it if my son didn’t turn it into a taco.
That thing is sexy
I set the depth then just engage the lever at the very lowest setting. Sit back, relax and wait. Get bit, slide the lever to strike and get busy.
Straightened the hook on that jig
What's the equivalent size for the tarred seine cord?
Way 2 slay
That’s a nice dragon
Private boat fishing an 8’ should be fine, can go cheap and get a glass 670 Calstar or Seeker. You might be able to find an 800M, I think I saw...
I want it
You guys made the best of a fine poppertunity.
That’s a nice Roscoe, I had a 6” barrel 629.
Not working for me either
For a minute I thought you got those hooks at a dispensary.
Almost, free to the 2nd responder.
When your friends call, don’t answer. Let them squirm.
Should be closed, that is all. I’m out.
I use a calstar 800m, before that I used a seeker 670, I could throw anything with that rod and a newell 332.
This must be the year 2000 and freeeeeee
Build that wall! Oh wait never mind
I had no idea, thanks for posting.
A 322, 332 or a daiwa sealine 40 works good too.
I got 5 on it
I use the same reel as you on a Calstar 700h, 40/50 bait yoyo it’s a killer. It’s the magic bullet you’re looking for. Good luck with whatever you...
A Calstar 800M is a good choice also, I’ve started fishing 40 on it when the bluefin moved in. I’ve hung a couple big fish on it and don’t feel it...
I'd fish it
One good stop can make a stinker of a trip into an epic trip
It's not how you begin, but how you finish
Now that's a fishing tale
Nitto Terra Grapplers 295-70R-18, these still have .25 inch tread depth. Tread wear is nice and even, the tire pressure was well maintained and...
This guy did some work for me
Clean and simple, very nice.
Might want to try some new Belleville washers
No, I ain't parting with mine. Sorry, not sorry. Good luck, they work for me, I've had some other rods I tried but the one you're looking for has...
To torture people who enjoy the convenience of free and adequate parking.
That’s great, now take that boat back to Seaforth were it belongs. Thanks in advance.
I don't put more than 16 on any charter I've done on one of the neighboring 65' boats, even 20 on that boat was the limit for me.
A screwdriver in my bench vise, wind until full, wash, rinse, repeat.
Last one I caught was on my (outdated and obsolete) Calstar 800m, Torium 20, 40lb, owner 8/0 aki twist with two live squid and a 1/4 ounce egg...
Beats a sharp stick in the eye.
I measured the butt section of a rod I was doing this too (30mm)
Then checked the specs on the vendors web site and made my selection from the...
Go to the fish restaurant in Bass Pro, they've got plenty hanging in there.

I guess the Chinese haven’t figured out they can just use viagra/cialis instead of animal and fish organs.
I was on a boat where the guy had a handful of cd's attached together with swivels, he lowered the home brewed flashing device into the water and...
Hot or Not
Beat me to it
That doesn’t impress me as much as the mustache on that young fella. Good Lord, puts Tom Selleck to shame
I passed this on to Clint,, hopefully he will want to go and bring his remaining inventory.
Too heavy? Walt Kowalski would not approve, but I do.
The parking down there makes me
My son has a nice drone, that thing flies higher than I thought and farther. I don’t know much about it but it might be able to track along with...
Ok Corey, you’ve made Bob famous again. Hope he’s doing good, haven’t bumped into him in a few months.
Jeezloueez, you’ll let anybody on your boat.
The only accurate I have is a Fury 600N, I love it. Have caught some nice bluefin with it, I rinse it off when I get home, has never given me any...
Gonna keep my Calstar’s till I’m gone
They’re already out here too
Never used the forum once, but I’ve been using their rods and reels for years with no issues.
I’m expecting her to come into heat this month, just waiting Mark.
You knew the job was dangerous when you took it.
I use a Calstar 700H for 40/50, it performs flawlessly. You'll still probably want an 80/100 rod for that trip too.
Too bad you didn’t get that on a recording, that tape would sell for more than a virgin Trueline on here.
Im impressed, might be listing some of those myself.
Thanks, passed it on to a friend in need.
Caught this on 30lb
That fish was ringing the sea lion dinner bell, I can't believe none of those fur bags answered.
I honestly do not know, I’ll ask the next time we talk.
I forwarded your info to him. Also to add, it’s not sold but he hasn’t unpacked all his boxes from moving out of the shop. Hope that helps.
I'd give them a reward personally, besides what the heck are California sea lions doing in Washington state? Blast away ese!
Save some dough and get a daiwa sealine 40
I just heard from Clint this morning, he's not sure if he'll be able to make it Saturday, I'll update as I get more info. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Put the Wynn on the bottom and go fish
Think I’ll stay in the US.
He is selling a yellowfin and the albacore in the pics I posted. Give him a call.
I used to soak the breasts in salt water for a couple days, changing the water a couple times. Draws the blood out and tenderizes it.

There’s a tackle shop closing it’s doors, we’ll be bringing some gear down. Rods, reels and some other junk. Look at the pics if there’s something...
I prefer to get them covered in fish blood, but that doesn’t remove the scratches. Hopefully someone much wiser than myself will chime in.
Are you talking about the monster man grip? If so I have one here if you want to try it.
If I need 33lb of drag I’m fishing my VSX30
Blown away as always.
Big brow tines
Holding the fish out at arms length isn’t fooling anyone. And it’s not needed for this pic, congrats bad ass fish.
That’s a mini stick boat! I’ll be watching, nice boat.
The local shop up here has a 9’ original run Shimano teramar rod. It’s very clean condition deck hand style.
I’ve got the 525 mag, I love it. I put it on a Calstar 196 8’, you’d be hard pressed to find a better chovy set up. Got this little fella on it...
Now that’s a slob yellow.
I use a cut 540, I prefer glass for throwing jigs. I know there's a lot of other glass rods available, but your mileage may vary.
According to a genius poster on here, he suggests cutting any braid colored red, yellow, rainbow etc
Maybe the landing read the OP’s thread about cutting everyone’s braided line and figured they’d handle it in their own way.
Aside from the uber fisherman bravado, there are some people that have no business fishing braided line. There should be a training course or...
I was gonna post a popcorn gif but what the hell, my boy can eat 50 eggs! Don’t even @me either ese
The only thing I find suspect is why anyone would leave another state to move to California. Bad ass boat.
Nicely done Mark
These are a must have out here, best chovy stick made.
Damn, I’d take those now. If your coming to or near the antelope valley let me know. I’d drive to you but I’m laid up presently
Good looking DD
I use a Sealine 40 on a 9’ rod, no issues at all
Damn son! You got the slam
Why is nobody buying this thing ?
I saw loads of mallards at Apollo park this weekend
He don’t wanna hear it.
Try Eset nod32
You’ll get your moneys worth, I’m certain of that. Hope you have a better trip than this one.
Before I read that it was an eagle, I thought it was a cuttlefish. To me the beak overpowers everything, I didn’t see the eyes till you mentioned...
The 540 is my whoopin’ stick
Nice job, I’m 1-4 out there lately. Got rocked twice and fed an undeserving dog.
about tree fiddy
Are the crowds thinning out now? Looks like you did ok to me.
I got this
Your hair game is on point.
First thing I thought of
I've seen bass boats sink in the Potomac River on windy days, how bad do you want to catch a fish?
Driver was like
I wouldn’t go down there for anything. I don’t care if that’s the last place on earth to fish, I’d never step foot across the border. Now I wish...
Growing up as a young boy, my dad said the same thing about bonito.
Holding the fish out at arms length for the picture. Oldest trick in the book.
looks bad ass K Man
Is the bullbuster line Berkeley?
Thanks in advance
You should be fine with 80 or 100, even if you’re setting your drag to 30lbs you’re still way under the breaking strength of the line.
No! Do not use it, send it to me.
I’d think it’s marginal at best, I could be wrong but you might be dumping $50.00 worth of braid away
Fish them, the ones that get bit are keepers, the ones that don’t are culls.
Get those squid while you can, they'll be the new flat fall. All stores out of stock
I prefer fiberglass for throwing iron, personally I have a Calstar 540 cut to 9'
Ignore Adrien Baker, what he really mean to say was send them to me.
That's what I've been wanting to try, two years ago I got three on candy
Smokingest deal of all deals, I'm glad you're up there.
Fish that kicker like a Tady 45, just watch the speed till you get the kick you're after.
Can the players date the new cheerleaders?
Yeah I can’t top that, trip of a lifetime.
I've never seen that frame before
Thanks, I'll make sure my friend gets the message.
You guys don’t make people double up in the wide bunks do you? I’m asking for a friend.
Where the anchovies laughing at you from the bottom of the bait tank?
Trumps gift to Kim Jung Un
Dropping flat falls in the dark, mine are rigged with 200lb mono. It’ll probably rot off by the time I actually get a fish on them tho
Nice grade of yellow, trying to clear the damn schedule to get out with you guys
Nice fish, I love that area of Texas, just drove thru there a month ago.
Congrats, I'd never go in the water like that cuz I'm afraid of what I can't see.
Yellowtail over rocks, always a good time.
Freespool issues on lever drags are a result of guys adjusting the drag pre-set knob with the reel engaged a lot of times.
RP works for me, haven’t had a failure yet.
That's a serious haul
That fish has some shoulders on him
Man that fish is a donk!
Take two of these :smoking33: and call me whenever......speedy recovery to you
Be thankful you survived that one trip, it’s africa hot down there.
I had that exact same bike in the 70's, got it in Canoga Park to deliver papers
Thread does not suck, bearded bruh got a big ol’ fatty
That is all.
Jig fish looks like a sea lion grabbed his tail, nicely done.
I'm not sure how many folks use them, if I had a boat they'd be one of my first purchases.
No words needed, fvcking savage.
Where I worked we had people that lived full time in Nevada, but worked in California. They had to pay Moonbeam his money, I don't like it but...
Good grade of calico bass
He has a nice build, great looking walker. How's his mouth?
Must smog your boat and you're only allowed 25 gallons of fuel.
I read the title and was expecting Max Holloway on your boat. I disappoint, killer job on the ahi. Love that boat too.
I paid double that for mine new and wrapped, still tempted.
Steigercraft are awesome boats, wish there were more of them on the west coast.
Absolute slob yellow right there.
Chicks dig scars, get your jig stick Nancy.
If I remember, Tady has the original molds for the candy bar jigs.
Holy crap, reading this thread was like

I think you'll like the transom door when it's time to land the big bluefin you've been catching.
Cool pics, not sure but the ling might be a cabezon
You can buy cheap bread for $1.00 a loaf, wtf
There s currently a fishing show that I watch with the mute button on, that laugh I can’t listen to it.
Damn that’s a fine piece, I like it better than my eclipse custom II.
Wish I could, I'm newly retired and can usually go any day. My Sunday is already booked but would like to have future consideration.
I love a happy ending as much as anyone else, but that first guy, I know him.
Man you have an addiction problem, quite the collection.
Bruce is not boring, he will sit on the upper deck and talk all day. Hard fishing skipper that guy.
I like these boats, underrated in my mind.
I’ve got one of those bolts broken on my torium 16hg, it’s the only one I don’t have a tiburon clamp for. To be rectified directly. Glad it all...
Kill this thread already
What in blue blazes is a skipjack doing in Trona?
I’ve got a fury 600N, I use it one a Calstar 700h. Killer combo together, mine is loaded with 65 braid and I put 40/50 top shots on it.
Man this look photo
Man this looks photo shopped, killer trip.
I paid about that for my VSX, and then sent it to Cal. Smoking deal
You can try the 670 8', it's a glass stick 20-50 rating and is cheaper.
Looks like the reel is sitting on a Shimano Beastmaster rod...
I’m having a tough time figuring this one out, when I see them advertising on all the hunting shows. NSWTF
Fine piece to have for sure
Love your videos Corey but the biggest blooper is not having Bob in all your videos. I saw him a few weeks ago at the local tackle spot out here....
Ive got the 8’ Calstar version, best chovy rod I own. I usually put my penn 525 mag on it or a Torium 14 but have used a sealine 20 on it also. It...
Love the paint on it
That's a hell of a boat, good luck man.
Fanrsworth in 2015 was a lot of fun
I've got a 6' 40-100 with guides I bought back in the late 80's, not selling just didn't think there was much interest in these rods.
Smoking good deal
When I lived on the east coast we had to use slugs for deer hunting. I shot 2 3/4" sabot slugs thru a Remington 1100 with a rifled slug barrel, at...
Calstar 700h with Accurate 600N, does 40/50 just fine.
I've got enough things in my life that cause me aggravation, braid backlashes are just one more thing I choose to avoid. 40lb mono has served me...
Is it too soon to start the guess the new name of the old Pac Star thread?
The pic of the beef short ribs just made me hungry, and it's coffee time.
Hansen Dam 1968
Matt I have a lexa 100 for my lighter baitcaster, I think they can be had on eBay for a fair price
I read the title and was like
Then I saw the fish and was like
It’s pretty sobering, I can’t for the life of me understand how a person can devolve into such evil.
Save about $375.00 or your budget and get. Daiwa Sealine 40.
Still here haven’t moved. Retired about 5 months ago so I’ve got days off for days.
Misfit, did you used to cb radio?
My plans have not changed, I will never set foot on the other side of the border again....
The original Kicker Jig website had a pic of a guy holding striper that appeared to be caught on one of their jigs. That was about 12 years ago I...
Didn't realize aoudad got that heavy, bad ass
New adventures on a new ride, look forward to reading about them.
We're not worthy
Great 1st post, but we need pics for the spank bank.
$420 each, here's your bump.
CB shells will cycle in a Remington 552 Speedmaster. That's the only rifle I know of that'll do that.
2nd and 3rd pics are great
I watched 1 minute when I realized, you should've had Bob on the boat with you.
I stopped reading here
5 wraps up, 5 wraps down, I've never had an issue with it if tied properly.
Looks great, I'd consider adding some dzus tabs on the lower frame and just make a removable panel for that lower hole in the front.
Nothing wrong with the Fury series of reels, I've caught several tuna between 70-90lbs on mine with zero issues.
Looks like you got the bases covered pretty well.
I like these jigs, always got bit for me.
I like the accurate reels, I still don't know about the Valiant series too much. But if you have the cheese, the Dauntless would get my vote for...
I still have my original Saltiga 20, no need for me to upgrade it yet after all these years.
Rail for me. Old farts like me it's neccesarry, it's not cheating if it's tuna you wanna be eatin'.
Doesn't happen often enough for my liking.
The fish in the video did not want to die, tough bastard.
Farnsworth = Yellowtail death match
Calstar 700H works for me
Keep it and get the 700H, I've got both and they're great.
You better get Bob on gaff duties
Job well done.
I've got wood
I am Groot
A local friend here caught a 130 class bluefin on one of these jigs, red not glow with the stock treble hook.
I always thought it was the opposite. Spike the brain then bleed the gills.
The fish are biting other jigs as well, people want you to believe the glow flat falls are the only thing local tuna want. Not exactly true.
I want to see a rubber ducky report catching these things
That's a bad ass boat.
Some big bones on that deck too.
(That's what she said)
The pic of your son with that little rod bent over the rail is priceless.
Saw those yesterday when I was down there.
Always enjoy your reports, the pic quality is awesome
I have that same stock on my rem 700, they are sweet.
Very cool for the 5 year old, he'll never forget that day.
They should have ropes tied to thier dicks and be dragged behind the same boat at the same speed.
I know what you mean
I like your style
This thread does not suck.
Yeah I cant agree with your findings.
West Loch was one of my favorite places to fish back in the 80's when lived there, lot's of good action.
Thanks for the report
He's holding the fish all the way out at arms length, it's the oldest trick in the book.
Short, sweet and to the point.
They're a lot of fun, good luck on your search
One of the coolest reports ever
Beats a sharp stick in the eye, thanks for the post.
That thing is a beast.
The hook still works, caught some fish with them rigged like that.
Beats sharp stick in the eye any day.
I just had my 30VSX done by Cal, now I'm feeling obsolete already. Take my money Penn.
Thanks, I had a feeling it was something like this, I didn't know there was a length of braid attaching the hook to the jig.
What test is that?...
All the talk about marlin rigging and no pics, anybody got Pics of that set up?
That's a metric fuck ton of fish
The anchovies will be laughing at you from the bottom of the bait tank.
I tried a gg series Calstar for throwing iron and had similar issues, although I don't use braided line on jig sticks.
Went back to my trusty old...
You're not the boss of me......
That's a bruiser bass
They only get paid when the jackpot winner gives it back to the boat.
A lot of rods have some run out in them, I've got a couple in my rack. The trick is to hook a fish big enough to make you forgetaboutit.
Personally, I use power pro solid. I'm not a LR guy, your mileage may vary.
Nike > XtraTuff
Those guys kill it, I'm a couple days past my prime and my back isn't what it used to be, but I'd still try it.
Where the fish caught in the refractionary zone?
That's a helluva jig fish.
Look at that boner!
Kick ass video and soundtrack.
This could've been the best post ever if there were pics.
Man I was thinking you were talking about the rod. No way you don't like that stick. It has its limits like they all do, but it's a great one.
I used to fish a Newell 322 on mine. Then torium 16/20 depending if I'm fishing 30 or 40lb test. Great local rod, never leave home without it....
You don't like cinnamon rolls?
This report does not suck. Great job on that slob.
"I don't want to get too close"
Walks right up to it, haha. Yikes
Definitely get teh 16hg then.
That's a kick ass story of perseverance right there.
Way to go on the Slam!
Slob yellows for sure.
I don't really hate you, your reports are some of the best. I'm mad cuz I'm sitting here on a computer and not on the water yet.
I hate you.
I'll be out of this state by the time it kicks in
Nice rod Auggie, got any trips scheduled?
Adjust a Butt's? I knew some girls that had those. Nice work and a great view.
Those are nice, I had one I sold on here a year or so ago.
Just having some fun man, hope it works for you. Sorry for your loss.
I keep it simple as I can, Calstar 196-8 and a Penn 525mag, works great.
Dude, you own a Calstar 196-8 and don't know?
Pair it up with your 15 fathom or 400 boss fury.
Could make RV steps out of them
I like Hornady, I've got some of those boxes here also. I share them with the local coyotes.
I had luck using an egg sinker over an 8/0 aki twist with two squid pinned on.
I see a use for that box of Hornady in the background
Had no idea stripers of that caliber were in that water.
How much did you tip?
Nobody on here needs to be told it's fishing and not shopping. We've all had trips like that.
RP knot is what I use
Locally usually 40, I'll go 30 and not even sweat it. I've leaned awfully hard on 30lb on my jig stick, I couldn't tell the difference from 40....
That guy is good.
The Tip $$$
It's more than adequate for fishing these local bluefin
Thanks for posting the link.
Oh yeah, no problemo senior. You'll be just fine, set your seat around 13/15 lbs and let her eat.
Pretty sure the sealines spool disconnects from the drive gear when in freespool. I've got both, I honestly couldn't tell you if one casts better...
I'm a scorpio
I like older women and fast cars
I fish in my chonies
no fishing gear
and I'll need a ride.
I've had no trouble with using the tried and true san diego jam, I prefer not to over think it.
I've caught some decent Bluefin using the RP knot and have plenty of confidence in it.
One of the 600N Accurates might be worth a look
That's a kick ass trip, thanks for the report
PM's replied to in order
Ok, I've been debating what to do with this, so I'm going to start here. I have this really nice Newell 300C, I was trying to degrease the right...
Great deal, if I owned a boat I'd buy them yesterday
I caught one year before last on a 6 1/2" seniorita big hammer at Santa Cruz in the skinny water
Cool report except for that damned buzz worm at the end.
Seaguar works fine for me
I'm as hard as a diamond in an ice storm
20lb Calstar 196-8' - 525 mag - anchovy
Calstar 800XL 8' - saltiga 20 - sardine
Don't use 25lb much anymore, but
Mine is a Seeker 270H 8'...
You might consider the Penn 16 or 30 vsx
You'll be fine, I got one on an out of the box torium 20hg. No reason why you can't with what you're using
Yes and yes.
Go on both and report back with your experiences. You have your orders, now go catch fish.
I release most of them,
I've said they should be the calfornia state fish over that orange thing.
That being said, I'll keep a few here and...
A 600 sized Accurate or something equivalent, a Penn 16 VSX is even better.
How's that spillway in Oroville coming along? I know it's a little off topic.
Those bloody snowflakes
I've got some old candy bars hanging here, I didn't realize they had that much value. Maybe it's time to cash in my pension.
Threads like this are like shingles, after you think they're gone and forget about them. That burning feeling shows up when you least expect it.
Alright, which one of you is selling these?...
And that's how it's done folks.....
He's ruined for life now...
Looks like one of our get together's here.
Heres three more for the freshwater crowd;
(1) LuckyCraft jointed SP

(1) Savage Gear 3D line thru 100gram...
I'm looking at the Redding T7, looks bad ass
Pretty damn impressive
Seabass :gay: are ghey, yellows all the way....
That's a hell of a first tuna, congrats
I keep it all, piss off.
Alright, which one of you owns that truck?!?!
Beat me to it!
Unfortunately, yes it's allowed. There should be a certification course to prove you know how to fish with it. It's not needed on the local scene....
I have a Penn 30VSX that's got the Cal's treatment
What kind of dog is that in your AV?
It doesn't matter where they move, I'll always be a Raiders fan.
When's your next fight Big Country?
I've got the 16 and 20, smooth, great drags, freespool nicey, cast well. I caught this bft on my 20hg last year, yes I was under gunned, but it...
Why has nobody bought this yet? I have the same reel and clamp and wish I could've got it for this price.
I don't think you'd be disappointed with either one of these fine rods.
I need a right side plate, if you get a pair let's make a deal
Is this auction in Colorado? I heard there's a fur auction in Las Vegas, can anyone confirm this?
Put your shirt on, you're making me feel like a fat tub of shit.
I guess Cialis and Viagra haven't made it to China yet
I've been using a Calstar 800m for years, it's my main 30lb rod, can also do 40lb
I also have a phenyx 809H that I use for 30lb.
Ok, thanks for the get back Pam.
This is all I saw in this post, need my eyes checked.
That's a great catch from the surf
They have a great crew n that boat. Serious question for you, did they solve the mystery of getting the beer cold enough to drink? I was on a...
I'm going to the Bakersfield event this year
I still use my Calcutta 200 for bass fishing, along with my Lexa 100 and Calcutta 400.
That's more my style rather than the flashier builds, well done.
Don't come in here trying to change decades of west coast fishing tradition with your over analytical mind.
I've caught a variety of fish on flat falls. I usually cast them out, sink them to the bottom, wind about halfway in. If no hook up, drop it back...
For some reason, this is all I saw in this post.
I hate you, not really, I love you. I'm experiencing conflicting emotions right now. Killer video.
Mine is mounted on a Calstar 800m, they're like peas and carrots.
My brother in law has been fishing his 14/0 reels for years, he's caught a lot of big fish out of Waianae.
Texas is looking better by the day
You can add me if you need one more.
This is what I'd suggest
I've fished 40/50 on my 700H and love it.
Yeah, that's fucking weird. I saw that on another board, the hell was he thinking?
Beats a sharp stick in the eye, im jelly
That buck has a hell of a bone hat on him
Congrats and way to stick it out for the big score.
Best west coast rod, use mine every trip, never leave home without it.
Rack looks like a whitetail, congrats
I picked these two (brother/sister) up on a recent trip to Texas. Apparently the male has the desire to do some water retrieving, the girl, not so...
You're killing it this year, the flying cake shot is the best.
Calstar 196-8 gets my vote
Makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside
I caught a similar sized Bluefin on a Calstar 800M paired with a Torium 20HG, when that was over, that rod went in the rack. Got out my 700H and 2...
I have had zero negative issues with it. Mine is all store bought line, not internet purchased.
Love it, I almost always fish 30lb on mine for bait or jigs, this year I fished 40lb on it due to the chances of bigger fish. Glad I did, when I...
She doesn't need anyone to hook and hand to her, she can fish.
I have an accurate 600 fury on my 700H, works like a champ. Could also put my 16VSX on there if I wanted to.
Good job, I got hit on straight 50 in the morning a couple times. FYI
Fish we got were in the 10/15lb range. I got two on 20lb with 20 flouro on fly line sardines, later I got one on 30lb w/flouro.

I did mine like this, owner stinger siwash. I haven't caught any monsters yet, but the hook up ratio is 100% so far.
Ok I'll say it, I prefer eating dodo over bft. Great trip
You're right about the cook being weird. I got no complaints, that crew kicks ass. Ok I got one complaint, their beer is warm as piss. They'd sell...
I've got two of them
Same rod, you could try a Daiwa Sealine 40. Light, spool disengages for great casting and the drags beat the pants off of a Newell.
I almost bought this one last year, but I got a 10mm kimber instead. So many flavors, so little time.
Does that have the external extractor?
Definitely a kick ass trip
That boar is a damn fine one, nice cutters.

You said what I was thinking, Nice yellow, thanks for the report.
Congrats man, those are some of my favorite little hunters.
Smoking deal, I'd grab it straight away if I wasn't a three hour drive away
I can't have a dog that's smarter than me. I really like them and the patterdales, little dogs big attitude. Tough as nails.

Is this a full time job, or is he just filling in?
The work speaks for itself, just having a little fun. You did a fine job.
Looks great, I don't see why others don't like the raider theme.
Megabaits work great, Tady 45 mint worked for me the last time I had fished these long finned fish you guys speak of.
Where was this two weeks ago?
Here's your bump

The clown show was the Big Show, nice job.

Good googley moogley
Your story got me laughin', better luck next time out.
Bad ass boat, did you sell your skipjack?

Normal like this
I got my son an Ugly Stick, 7' I can't remember the model number. For $75.00, it's a great bang for the buck.
The Calatar 220 doesn't get enough credit in my book.
Match the hook to the bait size, I use a glass calstar 196 8' with either a 525 Mag or a torium 14. A few feet of flouro and it slayed. #6 hook...

I got a 16 and 30 vsx, a few months back so doesn't really count for under the tree.
This report does not suck.
Best camera work ever
No need for it really, keep it simple.
Work and money are holding me up, too much of one and not enough of the other.

Easy to tie, plenty strong enough for bass fishing.
Lost me on the acid, great stick and nice work though.

Now that's a good time.
Wow, just wow.

Out of my price range, but this boat is making my pants tighter.
Like the title says, I'm selling a Narrowed Penn 6/0 with a Tiburon frame kit. I've owned this for about 8 years and took it on 2 boat rides. The...
Well that didn't last long
Sometimes it's just best to sit back and, relax and watch the chaos unfold around you.
Do you have any pics showing the side of the cabin? Specifically if you can walk past the cabin up to the bow.
Got yourself some weight this day.
If using say a 94150 hook and keep getting bit off, switch to a flyliner style hook. It works for me.
A Calstar 540 with 12" cut off the bottom.
Dude in cal its legal now, nothing to stop you now.
Good job Dalton
Hhmm, Wellcraft = Face down Ass up
Looks like you got yourself a new avatar
I got some on eBay as well
I gotta ask, what's a kicker? Same as a tweaker I'm guessing?
Daiwa Sealine 40, light, spool disengages for casting and better drags than a Newell. All for about $125.00 new.
That's a load of meat
You'll be fine with either choice. As do I.
Calstar 700H, they work real nice together.
I need a right side plate for one, here's your bump

Should be a torx 7 or 8, I think 8. It's covered in Cal's grease, just push the driver tip right through it.
That guys is a perfect example of more money than sense. What a dipshyt.
Great videos, keep posting them.
The stock clamp will push your sanity right off a cliff.
Traveling a long way to get here

Hell of a nice option to Bluefin that don't want to bite.
Is it a full length 10', or is it cut down?
Pretty cool boat
Nice going, I wish I still had my Calstar 220, bad ass stick.
Way to slay hombre'
That'll make your day
I would never be able to relax on one of those things, all I see is a GWS head popping up next to the yak and my clumsy dumb ass flipping it over.
Is bear tossing easier than dwarf tossing? Glad you got a BFT for your efforts and got back safe. Could've been worse.
Awesome victory celebration, Gaff and Barf. Way to get the fish on board first, I've done close to the same thing before, I hate being sea sick.
It's not for a lack of trying. Keep at, you'll be rewarded before you know it.
Great post with very cool pic's
It doesn't get any better than that.
Cool, thanks Chad. We're heading out next weekend.
Does size matter? :gay:
The jigs I mean.
Can't watch the video right now. What did your brother hook the Bluefin on Corey?
Kids now days want the new hotness, I still have. 2 Pro Gears, they're tanks! Now go kill something with that thing.
Flagged and gone
Love some Calico's, I think they should be the state fish, but I'm weird like that.
Happy Birthday, glad you got them to go.
That's one way to get them to bite
I like how your friend Bert photo bombed your first two pics, congrats on the fine catch in less than optimal conditions.
20 people on the San Diego? Is the passport thing slowing business down for them? That boat gets a lot of business on most days.
One hell of a nice fish
Another sweet video, I wanna see Bob (T.O.) on the ocean with you
You allow skinny jeans on you boat? Sweet.
They certainly look well fed.
Huge Boner! I'd love to catch a few of those. :jig::gay:
