    Aztec 2 Day 8/1/20 - 8/3/20

It’s basically “Plan B”! Most of the time they can staple your number, bleed it and slide into the RSW but if you hit a school where everyone’s bit. They don’t have time to staple as the fish are coming up so they put it in your sack and wait till the bites over or slowed down.

    Aztec 2 Day 8/1/20 - 8/3/20

I was on the previous 2 day trip! Awesome captain and crew. They did the same thing re-baiting at night. EPIC! Although i wasn't as successful as you on the BFT but caught a decent YFT! Also, for anyone going with them in the near future, the setup is 30# setup, 30# flouro, size 2 circle hook...

Also forgot to mention that I check the leader often for any nicks or abrasions.

Sounds like your drag is too tight and hopefully you’re not “helping” the drag by adding pressure with your thumb. It’ll take longer but you’ll land more.

    Rod for Saltist 35TH?

I bought a used Saltist 35TH a few years back. I’ve been using it as my rock fishing setup (combined with a cheap big 5 rod) but was wondering if I can pair it with a decent rod for jigging?? I don’t want to spend a ton of money on a rod so something used but I don’t have a clue as to what...

160g Shimano Glow in the dark Flat Fall

You're correct! it's $15 normally but the hook was replaced with a single, stronger hook that was on a soldered ring, with a 200# leader. Don't know all of the specifics but I bought them from Sam at Islands Tackle in Carson.
