    Thanks Bill. What area are they catching yellowtail? In March we were having good success on the NW end of Carmen.

    I've not fished for yellowtail recentlyl and don't have a report more recent the three or four days, but prior to that catches were reported from Cholla, San Bruno and Pulpito. A friend fished in the wind a couple of days ago around Monserrate for two cabrilla. Good luck. I'm sure you will find some fish. If nothing else, put some lures out and I'm sure a marlin will provide some excitement.

    Hey Bill! We’re heading down to Loreto this Sunday to fish for a few days. Our captain said the striped marlin are thick. Have the larger dorado started to make a showing yet? Any other species to comment on?

    Not many dorado at all, and the ones that are being caught are mostly small. In addition to the marlin there are also yellowtail being caught fairly consistently although not in the numbers as a month or so ago.
