Thanks but they don’t have anything. Even when they bought that "collection" it was all junk glass

hopefully its not to fish cuz wow it has no give at all
if you can find the later reverse mandrel red glass its a lil more forgiving

Funny, I was the first person Eric showed that "collection" to out in the SFV - after pulling all his dad's rods out of the garage rafters. His dad was John Collins #1 or #2 fishing buddy, and John liked fishing trout more than anything! About 90% of those rods were brown "grenade glass" - famous for exploding under load. Made in the 80's. He had maybe 5 collectible rods in the entire lot, but still got a surprising amount for them. Wayyyy overpaid for them, but I hope John and brother still made a nice profit
