I put this together as a budget friendly kayak kelp-cutter combo but I don't use it.
Reel: Penn Warfare 20N, full of original Powerpro 65# ---- 9/10
Rod: Turners Californian (Phenix blank) Tri-helix Composite CTX-767MH 15-40lb ---- 8/10 (no nicks on guides)
Reel is full of 65lb original Powerpro with a 40lb Fluoro top shot.
This combo was used offshore once. The rod has been with me for a few years.
The whole rig is ready to fish.
I think I have the box for the reel too (need to double check)
Asking $150 for the combo.
