My son and I came back from a fishing trip 3 weeks ago and I had 6 rods and a reel bag and a backpack to bring in so I left the tackle bag in the bed of the truck and forgot about it. My wife drives the truck when she goes shopping so I am sure that it was stolen in a Walmart parking lot or Trader Joes. I park in a garage so it was not taken from my home. Anyway, I am the idiot that left it in my truck.
I scoured photos of fishing trips over the past 10 years and I could not find one photo of the bag so I could not even tell you what brand it was but I think it was a Spiderwire bag, seems like I remember seeing that logo on the shoulder strap. It is black and gray and the top had a molded zippered pocket for sunglasses. In the top pocket I had a fairly large two pcs squid jig along with some Flat fall jigs. Inside the main compartment there were three trays.
Tray #1 had assorted hooks, all new, and many different size swivels and connectors. Had many sizes and many varieties of hooks, all quality and new.. the hooks are probably the hardest thing for me to lose.
Tray #2 was filled with 15-20+ assorted surface iron Tady, Candy Bar, Sumo, Salas, etc..
Tray #3 had more surface iron, assorted swim baits, led heads, assorted flat fall jigs and weight. One 16 oz cannon ball sinker should be a pretty good identifier.
If you see anyone trying to sell a full black and gray bag that has these specific items in it please let me know. The top pocket had mesh inside it and I wrapped the squid jigs in a paper bag so it would not catch the mesh. On the front I had a pair of white Rapala pliers and in the side pockets I had more hooks in their retail packaging.
I have begun the process of replacing the hooks but I had 10 years and probably a grand or two (who knows) in that bag so I can't do it all at once. If anyone has some bulk tackle that they are wanting to get rid of let me know and I am happy to buy used this time around. Thanks gang!

YOU ALL ARE AWESOME!!! I posted this below but I want to be sure that it is seen.
I think that I have reached out to each of you that were kind enough to send some of your extra tackle my way. I can't tell you how much I appreciate this community for looking out for each other. I don't have everything that I lost, but I have everything that I need to get back on the water and for that I can't thank you enough.
Which one of you is Harris from SF? I didn't know who you were to thank you in a conversation so I hope you read this and know how much I appreciate you and everyone else that took the time and spent the money to send tackle to me. Steve H, Steve K, S. Stanton, Wally & Harris you are awesome and I hope the fish god's hook you up for paying it forward. Cheers
