1990 Boston Whaler Montauk 17 with 2014 Honda BF75 (213 hours) and Trace Trailer
- Engine was installed on Whaler in 2021 with 150 hours on it. Engine now has 213 hours
- Engine was used at Disneyland since new and only ran at low rpm in fresh water previous to me
- Engine always professionally maintained by Certified Honda Technicians while at Disney and now
- Engine always flushed with Salt-Away and coated (exterior) with corrosion inhibitor
- Diagnostics were also performed on engine to verify hours and time at low rpm
- Boat has a Honda tachometer / hour meter is not original to engine and shows more hours
- Since owning the engine I have all the maintenance records, which are up to date
- The BF75 is a 1.5 liter, 4-cylinder that is the same engine base Honda uses for their Honda Fit and Civic automobiles which have been known to easily last more than 300,000 miles when maintained properly
- The BF75 engine has the same performance as the BF90 under 4,400 rpm
- I rarely rev engine over 4,400 rpm for durability and fuel efficiency
- Boat cruises 25+/- mph at 4,000 rpm depending on conditions and averages 8 mpg with 2-3 people onboard
- Maximum speed is 37 mph at 5,600 rpm.

- Boat is always trailered, stored and covered out of the water since new (1990)

- Boat and engine are detailed and waxed (buffed) multiple times throughout the year
