Dream Trip with Team Bad Company
This is an experience and fishing adventure that you simply cannot find or buy anywhere else. A trip that is truly priceless. Up to four (4) lucky anglers will spend two (2) days onboard the custom 92’ Jones-Goodell Bad Company, captained by IGFA Tommy Gifford recipient, Steve Lassley. Guests will spend their days cruising the famed fishing grounds off Southern California where they will sight-fish for swordfish, striped marlin, and bluefin tuna with the best in the business. Guests will enjoy luxury accommodations and five-star meals and service when the fishing is done. At night, the boat will anchor up in sheltered coves of the nearby islands where you can catch seabass, yellowtail, and more. Mag Bay Striped Marlin Frenzy
You will stay four nights at La Isla Lodge on Magdalena Island and fish three full days targeting striped marlin. From September to December, the offshore fishing grounds at Mag Bay are host to one of the most spectacular shows in nature. Massive schools of sardines and Pacific mackerel attract vast numbers of marine mammals and pelagic sportfish, most notably, unbelievable numbers of striped marlin. Mag Bay is bait ball fishing at its finest and one of the world’s most incredible sights. As the sardines and mackerel ball up for protection, they are descended on by an unbelievable diversity of marine predators, which is why this area was chosen as a filming site for the award-winning documentary Blue Planet. Are you ready for non-stop, all-out marlin fishing at its finest? After an active day of fishing, you and your guest will rest at La Isla Lodge, located approximately 600 miles south of the US border in the tiny island community of Puerto Magdalena. There are only about 60 full-time residents on the island, and it is only accessible by boat. You and your guest can rest peacefully, far from the crowds of large tourist destinations. Wake up every morning and enjoy your coffee under the palapa while watching birds, turtles, fish, and dolphins in the bay. The remote location puts you closer to the fishing grounds and gives you the ability to leave the “real world” behind to enjoy all that nature has to offer.
This trip of a lifetime includes four (4) nights lodging at La Isla Lodge and three (3) full days of conventional or fly fishing for up to two (2) anglers aboard a 35′ Cabo Yachts flybridge sportfish.
