Fly Tying – Tarpon Toad

Fly Tying Tarpon Toad

The tarpon toad was originally developed by Gary Merriman. Since then it has been tied in many variations. It is a very effective fly for the silver king and a variety of other species.

It is hard to find another pattern that moves as well as this one in the water.
