With everyone stuck home, now is the perfect time to set your DVR’s for the kick-off of Season 5 of the Local Knowledge Fishing Show.
Ali and Rush are back on the West Coast chasing giant bluefin tuna, but this time the mission is for science. Joining forces with other scientists and SoCal anglers, the guys pull out all the tricks to try to tag and release a giant bluefin tuna.
“Sometimes these fish are chewing everything that hits the water, but why is it when the pressure is on to produce, they so often have lockjaw,” said Ali Hussainy, Co-Host of Local Knowledge. “We needed to catch a fish in the name of science and tagging, so Rush and I had to pull out all of the stops in an attempt to capture one of SoCal’s local big bluefin.”
