Florida Fishing Report – Sarasota & Tampa Bay October

BD Pro Chasten Whitfield gives us the rundown on the local Sarasota & Tampa Bay fishing report for 2nd half of October. There’s a little bit of red tide that has moved in from offshore but it’s not too bad as of now.

Inshore Fishing:

Redfish + Snook + Trout fishing remains stellar with the Berkley Gulp! Shrimp getting the job done. The reds are in big schools in the mangroves & the grass flats.

Offshore Fishing:

Tripletail. Tripletail. Triplietail. With stone crab season in full swing, the crab trap buoys are loaded with tripletails. Grouper have been on the bite and also some schools of kingfish roaming as well.
