Welcome back to another Sportboat Roundup with Tonie! This week, it’s more of the same with our local mixed bluefin and yellowfin tuna providing really good hits some days, and lackluster excitement on others. One thing remains a constant; spending time at the bait tank to pick a quality sardine and going through as many baits as you need to before finding the right one will undoubtedly improve your chances of earning that bite. While we all dream about wide open days, take the opportunity of a picky bite to hone in your skills and improve your fishing abilities.
In other news, it seems like with warm water pushing up the line, kelps are starting to hold much more frequently than they have been in recent weeks, with both quality model yellowtail and some dorado being seen on kelps. It’s a great time to hop on your favorite boat and go fishing!
