With early season limit-style bluefin being caught at night, the bite has now trickled into the day. This week Tonie highlights some of the boats in the fleet that have jumped on this action now that there has been sign of bluefin within full day and overnight range as well as some yellowtail being caught offshore. She recommends a 40lb flyline outfit with Colt Snipers or Zakana jigs as well as a 60lb sinker rig setup to bring with you when you go offshore. Its about that time to start planning your trips and join the fleet! Get out there and good luck!
