CABO SAN LUCAS AREA FISHING REPORT WITH CAPTAIN DAVE HANSEN | 04/06/2022

Sounds like things have been a little tough down in the Cabo area as the wind has been causing havoc on the offshore fishery. While the excessive wind causes an immediate shock to the predatory species in the long run the upwelling will cause an influx of nutrients which will, in turn, activate the bait fishery. Hope is that once the weather settles down we’ll have great fishing.

Inshore it sounds like there is no shortage of action with sierra and yellowtail doing most of the heavy lifting. Two species that are great fun to catch and great table fair. Make sure to check back weekly to catch the latest report from the Cabo San Lucas area here at BD Outdoors.
