Captain Chris Britton from Grey Ghost Charters checks in from the Stuart, Florida area with some news of the fun Summertime fishing going on right now. Warm weather, light winds, and biting fish seem to be the theme of this past month in Eastern Florida, with no shortage of fish species to go out and target.
Offshore, the Sailfish bite has been hit or miss, but there are Blackfin Tuna, Kings, and some Wahoo starting to show. The inshore species such as Snapper, Tarpon, and Snook, can provide you with a day of fun fishing, with the best bites happening at first light and last light. While the Snook spawn is coming to a close, the Mullet run is sure to begin soon, and Chris informs us that by following these schools of Mullet, we are likely to find predatory fish close behind.
