The staff from the Coastal Conservation Association California (CCA CAL) will be traveling to Cope’s Tackle & Rod Shop in Bakersfield, CA to hold an informational meeting about CCA California. That meeting is slated for April 8th, 2021 at 6 pm.
“We are very excited to get back on the road and Bakersfield has been one of our favorite places to visit, especially during the show season,” said CCA CAL Executive Director Wayne Kotow. “It is only natural to begin a new local chapter in Bakersfield as there are many saltwater anglers that reside in the area.”
“CCA California has been doing an excellent job in fighting for our rights to fish, now more so than ever before,” said Seth Mostero, Owner of Cope’s Tackle & Rod Shop.
Local chapter development remains to be a priority for CCA CAL and this will be a great opportunity for the CCA CAL brand to continue to grow.
This informational meeting is a great opportunity for anglers to learn more information about past efforts and accomplishments of CCA CAL, and are able to ask questions about the organization.
CCA CAL has participated in multiple shows in the Bakersfield area, including the Fred Hall Show at the Kern County Fairgrounds from 2016 to 2019, and was slated to be at the Central Valley Sportsmen’s Boat, RV, and Outdoor Show in 2020 before it was canceled due to COVID-19.
All saltwater anglers in the greater Bakersfield area are encouraged to attend the meeting at Cope’s Tackle & Rod Shop and come be a part of a brand new chapter of CCA CAL.
