You don’t have to be building a boat from scratch to encounter lots of boat projects as I have been doing this year. If you own a boat, you have projects on your list and it doesn’t matter if its an old boat or a brand new one. I thought I would pass on a few boat tips that I used during my boat build and career as a boat captain. Most of these tips are just the boat version of “measure twice and cut once”. The same theory applies to drilling holes to mount new accessories or install marine hardware.
