Black Devilfish From the Deep

Black Devilfish Video

Check out this pretty cool video of the deep-water black devilfish recorded on a deep-dive submersible exploration by the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute.  This was reported to be the first ever recorded live black devilfish alive and at a depth of 1800-feet.  They have a lure on a rod that they light up and wave in front of their fang-studded mouth to entice prey to their death.

What else is down there?
