21st Annual Rancho Leonero “Let’s Talk HookUp” Spring Tournament
sponsored by Sportfishing Financial and Statewide Stripes
Celebrating its 21st annual event, the Rancho Leonero Tournament offers plenty of great times and super prizes. June is recognized in the East Cape for both great weather and superb fishing.
Many participants return year after year to enjoy the fishing and the camaraderie of a fun tournament they share with Pete Gray and his Let’s Talk HookUp team; the event is so popular it always sells out, maybe because anglers have the option of fishing either two or three days and keeping the best two days for the tournament.
The tournament package can include four-nights lodging, two or three days of fishing, all meals and tournament entry with great prizes including a paid trip for two to return the following year. Sportfishing Financial will give the angler who catches the largest dorado or wahoo $500 cash and Statewide Stripes will give another $500 for the largest tuna. Fun times with great people … no wonder it is sold out each year.

The Roosterfish Tournament is a qualifier for the Offshore World Championship Tournament of 2017 and will campaign a team of Champions.
The 51st IRT will again be at Playa del Sol, a Van Wormer Resort Hotel, Los Barriles, B.C.S. Contact: K. L. Comstock (626) 233-2637 or www.roosterfishtournament.com.

STARS & STRIPES TOURNAMENT
Launching at sunrise from Chileno Bay
The Stars and Stripes fishing and golf tournament was established in 1996 as a 501(c)3 tax exempt charity and has quickly become the largest fundraiser for one of the Southern California Big Brothers, Big Sisters clubs.
Enjoy world-class fishing where the calm and warm waters of the Sea of Cortez mix with the cool currents of the Pacific Ocean.
In addition to serving the youth of Orange County, the Stars and Stripes event also gives back to the communities of Cabo San Lucas, donating modern medical equipment and new ambulances, plus facial surgeries, school scholarships, etc. for the kids.
“It’s all about the kids.”
They end each event with a pretty amazing concert highlighted by recognized names performing live and offering a good time while raising cash for charity. It is a sure-fire recipe for success for all.
