Capt. Dave Hansen

BD Pro Staffer Dave Hansen has been fishing Southern California and San Clemente Island for more than 30 years. He holds a 100-ton USCG Master License and is a self-confessed fishing fool. He grew up at San Clemente Sport Fishing where his father started his 70-year career in the industry. His earliest memories are not of riding a bike with friends, but chasing bait around in the receiver. Thirty something years later, after captaining many of the local sport boat's on the West Coast, private yachts and deliveries to Mexico and beyond, Dave is still doing what he loves. All those years of experience have culminated into Captain Dave's Saltwater Guide Service, where Dave offers boaters and anglers access to every bit of his fishing knowledge.
