Michelle Gandola, the Director of Marketing for BD Outdoors, has spent many years dedicated to the sportfishing industry. She worked as a cook and deckhand and then as operations manager for sportfishing vessels while going to college. After graduating college she took a brief hiatus from the industry to work in marketing and public relations for a large marketing firm.
When Ken Franke took the role as President of the Sportfishing Association of California, he recruited Michelle back to the fishing industry. There she worked tirelessly as the Director of Public Relations and Marketing to represent the SAC fleet to government, business and community. With the ever-changing climate regarding sportfishing in Mexico, Michelle became an expert in navigating the complexity of crossing the border as a recreational boater.
She brings with her a wealth of industry related knowledge and a spirit of creativeness and innovation that will undoubtedly be invaluable to the continued growth of BD Outdoors.
