Costa 580p mirror
Costa unveiled their latest advance in polarized sunglasses. The 580P mirrored lens, the perfect marriage of 580 mirrored lens technology combined with the light weight features of their polycarbonate lenses. They also won Best of Show with these new designs.

Simms brought their A game to the show and captured seven awards for new products in the joint IFTD show.

The newly refurbished SeaVee of the late Jose Wejebe was on display as part of the Marolina groups release of the new Spanish Fly and Huk apparel lines. Great to see a piece of fishing history at the show.

Everyone was happy at happy hour. Even the stars came out, in disguise, to enjoy the festivities.
Grizzly Coolers Booth
In the battle for the best cooler, Grizzly Coolers had some innovative designs and huge sizes. They have also partnered with Arctic Ice and feature some integrated holders for frozen dividers.
The Penn Booth was busy as fishermen were eager to get their hands on the most recent offerings from this pillar of the industry.
Penn Baja Special
Penn came out with many new updates to their product lines including the Baja Special and several new models based on the Baja’s design to handle the rugged use of today’s hardcore fishermen.
Grunden has been in the business of keeping fishermen warm and dry for many years. They continue this heritage with a new line of breathable, yet waterproof apparel, including raincoats, pants and bibs. Even the old standby PVC gear has been improved for comfort and function.

Daiwa magnetic lubricant
Without a doubt one of the “neatest” things at the show was the interactive display of Daiwa’s magnetic lubricating oil. Right out of the Terminator movies, this liquid reacted to a magnet with incredible results. They should sell these for sure!
In addition to their magnetic oil, Daiwa had all of their latest new products on display for anglers to touch and hold.
