The Grove Slam Dolphin Tournament took place May 3 to 5 in Miami’s Coconut Grove. As always, tournament director Tony Albelo put on a fantastic event, bringing together some of Florida’s top fishing teams to enjoy a little fishing while having a whole lot of fun.

There was lots to see at Surf Expo this year, including new gear from Guy Harvey and Hook & Tackle, surfboards and sunglasses, and lots of skin!
GIANT BERMUDA BLUEFIN TUNA
Capt. Andrew Card landed a 920-pound bluefin tuna while fishing alone. He hooked the fish with a Bomber diving plug and battled it on a 50-wide reel spooled with 80-pound test line.

2011 FORT LAUDERDALE INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW
The 2011 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show took place October 27-31. The show spanned six sites and featured more than $3 billion worth of boats, yachts, electronics, engines and accessories. It's a great place to see all of the new boats and speak to the companies that produce these fine marine products.
