A poem of Baja by Todd Victor Mora:

I wish I was a fishing cowboy in Baja Sur.

The Land, the Sea, just beautiful.

Life in San Diego is getting too complicated.

    Thanx Captain.

Great report, killer shots of Catavina's essence: the hotel, refuel, and local color! Loreto is such a fantastic mid-peninsular refuge. Have been treated like a king at Oasis seven times in the last three years (looks like the construction on the malecon between there and the launch is complete?) Not to mention great fishing with the pup and panguero Abel Jr.!

Anyone ever surf-cast the prime-looking spots between Loreto and Mulege? The beaches are post-card-fantastic, the cliff's look hella-fishy, I'm always tempted . . .
