    As I mentioned in a previous post, I'd been looking for the right lens to take publication quality fishing photos and it looks like I've found it...

    Second day of shooting with the new lens resulted in my first magazine cover.

    Thanks again for the recommendation Ali, it's a great lens.
    It's a Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6 EX DC HSM lens.
    Jesse, my photos don't hold a candle to the amazing stuff that you shoot, but I appreciate the compliment. I am thinking about picking up a prime 35mm for shooting in lower light conditions. Have you had any experience with the Nikon 35mm F1.8? I've read some good reviews and it's only 200 bucks, so I'll probably pick one up.

    After seeing you at the Hall show - I hope you find a lens that sheds 20lbs+ for self portraits.

    Want to check out that new up and down you got in the skiff and my freezer needs sculpin.
