Me and a friend hit up the Surf in Redondo. Weather was warm, tide was coming up, and water was clean and clear for once.
We had the long rods out with squid, while we walked along the surf with the little spinning outfits. I landed a fun little 20in
halibut on a Rapala X-rap with the spinner. My buddy landed a nice batray, about 15lbs. We also landed a small Shovelnose
and a small leapord shark. All fish released. Fun little afternoon. The smoke and ash is creating some beautiful sunsets.
There were photographers all over the beach. I'll see if I can get some pics up, they're on my bro's camera.
