Another wonderful fishing week. Much the same as last week with hot weather and flat seas. Hurricane Dora popped up on our radar and luckily passed uneventfully way to the west of Baja.

We had a quieter week after the very busy week before , much lighter fishing pressure. The main action remains Bill fishing this week.

Tons of stripers and sails, Blues taken everyday. The stripes mostly taken on flylined caballitos while the blues were hitting lures. The best bite was south near Los Frailes, a few boats went north but ended up making a loop to the south.
A few schools of smaller dorado were found this week , the fish were a bit too small to be keepers but some good bulls lurking among
    the bill fish.

A tuna bite opened up near the light house with 20 pound fish but did not last long. Most Tuna fishermen ranged outside looking for porpoise.
A few good fish to 40# taken.

This is a great time to be looking for that dream Rooster!!. Big fish to 60# patrolling the beaches. best areas were closer to Leonero
as a result of some green water inshore around the Light house. We nailed some big fish from the beach this week using bait and on the fly.
Pompano, jacks, pargo etc still a good option to fill coolers. The pangeros all have their favorite spots, pretty consistent all week for bottom fish.

Fishermen of the week ; Steve and Gail Ross with Blue marlin ,Sail fish, Big Dorado, Tuna , Roosters . Congratulations great fish!!!
