Catching some good numbers of coho off San Juan Island. Sucks having to release native fish but fun to catch. Managed to scratch up half a dozen yesterday to keep. Starting to see some of the bigger hooknose coming in. Biggest so far about 14lbs. Hope to see some bigger ones. Need to beat my 23lb mark.

The family and I landed over a dozen on Saturday with a couple of the fish estimated in the low teens. All had the extra fin though. We still had a blast with 4 hooked up at the same time.

There should be fish all over the place. I have been catching coho for the past few weeks. Seeing better numbers this past week. Enough fish that we have been getting many multi rod hook ups as well from shallow to deep water. Heard from someone that there are lots of coho in Sekiu which with the numbers Im seeing should be very true.
