    Has anyone compared Calstar's 6470 with Seeker's 6470 ?

The Calstar is a little usual when comparing the two model for model. ;)

Seem like Seekers are a little softer / Slower action .I've been using Calstar 6470 for years . Was looking for something a little softer.
Whats your option on the Seeker 70M ?

Do you have an opinion on a SS 8' 25lb ? Sardine/Leadhead squid fishing

try a calstar 610 for a 30-50#or a 610h for 40-60#. both are very easy on the old back.

I use the SS-CJB80-F(20-30) for me 25# bait stick. I cut 2" off the tip and it feels perfect to me for that line size...
My SS-CJBF70-M(25-40) is my 'go to' 30# bait stick...

I've fished Calstar for years and just purchased the SS 6470. The super seeker is much more expensive. I'm looking forward to seeing how it fishes.

SS 6470 is a factory wrapped number correct ? is the blank number CJBF-70 ?
Thanks all for the info .If the blank number is correct i will try the SS-CJBF 70 for 40LB

Do you guys think the SS CJBF 70M is comparable to Calstars 700M ?

I think the seeker 70M feels just a bit lighter than the 700-m calstar...

Is there a big difference between SS 6470 and Black Steel ?
